How this group is going to work, milestones, roles, definitions of the workflow
Motivation
The initiative came out of watching the NFT space grow and evolve. Initially, Jamie Pitts suggested improving the NFT standard as it is like "Swiss cheese" 🧀 full of vulnerabilities. Later, Anett started researching the NFT Standards and found out that there was tons of room for improvement. On behalf of Ethereum Magicians, we are aiming to improve and possibly replace the ERC721 standard with a new, improved standard.
What we want to accomplish
Create a new NFT standard that will be used on the Ethereum network and possibly on the other chains
Goals
add security to ERC1155, as many items can be stolen at once
each of the platforms has ERC1155, so the users can move their token to another platform. take the NFT, then move it to another place without a single move of the NFT contract
what type of NFT we are talking about - artwork/game item / financial item like real estate contract or license
requirements for the transfer
license like every code has a license, every art will have a license for the image. The image has, who is the author of the artwork and so on
multisig for security control of the NFT
multichain for L2
if the NFT can be created on other chains
make projects listen to us and coordinate the standards
Prototypes and tests for validity so the standard will be implemented faster
we need NFT core devs - people who approve the standard, tell us that it is legit, NFT core group
